Hunter Brumfield is a Virginia-based Film Director who focuses on idiosyncratic work that is sculptural, surreal, and visceral in its expression. His background as a painter, combined with his skills in editing suites of commercial post production companies, places Hunter in a unique position of comprehending the vision of a project from previsualization to delivery. His distinctive aesthetic has been widely exhibited with features in Pitchfork, Booooooom, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Huffington Post, and TIME. His award-winning films have also been screened at Ann Arbor, ARS Independent, Queer Hippo, and the LA Film Festival. Hunter Brumfield received his BFA in film from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
